Day 1From Cairo to El Minya -Tel El Amarna.

Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cairo and a drive to El-Miniya. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, offering scenic views of the Rural Egyptian landscape along the way.

Upon arrival in El-Minya start to visit the archeological site of Tel El Amarna, where Akhenaton received his divine inspiration to build his new capital city named Aket-Aton, Founded around 1346 BCE. Visiting Tel El Amarna provides a rare opportunity to walk through the remnants of this once grand capital and reflect on a pivotal chapter in ancient Egyptian history.

Day 2Rock Tombs of Beni Hasan

After breakfast, you will depart from the hotel with your guide to visit the Necropolis of Beni Hassan. These Tombs are a significant archaeological site in Egypt, dating back to the Middle Kingdom. This ancient cemetery is home to nearly 39 rock-cut tombs, which were constructed for the provincial rulers of the Oryx Nome.
