Day 1Arrival in Cairo, Egypt

Welcome to Egypt! At the Cairo terminal, look out for the Misr Travel signs for transport to your hotel! After arriving in Cairo, one of the largest cities in Africa and the Middle East. You can relax and unwind or start exploring the city and try the local cuisine at one of Cairo’s many excellent restaurants.

Day 2Cairo City Tour - Overnight Sleeper Train

Set your alarm for 7:30 am. and eat a hearty breakfast before a big day exploring the ancient wonder of the world of Egypt – the Pyramids and the Sphinx! Follow your guide on a tour of the ancient site to learn about its 4,600-year-old wonders. After everyone has paid their respects, we head to Saqqara to see the iconic Step Pyramid, built in 2700 AD. Later in the afternoon, we board the night train to Aswan.

Day 3Aswan City Tour

Wake up in Aswan ready to explore on a city tour with a local guide. Visit the unfinished obelisk and learn about the incredible construction methods used to create the four-sided emblems placed at the entrances of Egyptian temples. Take a moment to walk along the 42-meter-long granite and learn about its significance from your guide. Visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, the divine mother of the pharaohs. The temple is beautifully situated on an island in the middle of the Nile. Then we arrive at the hotel for check-in and in the evening, there is an opportunity to join a traditional Nubian dinner.

Day 4Sightseeing Abu Simbel Temples

Early morning trip to Abu Simbel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A must for all keen historians!
Return to Aswan get some rest at your hotel, Time to relax and enjoy the cool Nile breeze. Hop on a traditional Felucca sailboat sailing to Elephantine and Kitchener islands on the Nile. After our river cruise, you can spend the rest of the evening wandering around Aswan as you wish.

Day 5From Aswan to Luxor via Kom Ombo and Edfu temples

As we get back on the bus and head north to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. The next stop is Edfu, home to one of Egypt’s largest and best-preserved temples. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, the temple was built over 180 years between 237 and 57 BC. We arrive in Luxor in the late afternoon.

Day 6Tour West and East Banks of Luxor - Sleeper Train to Cairo

In the morning, the west bank of the Nile awaits you! Follow your guide to the Valley of the Kings, also known as the “City of the Dead”, where magnificent royal tombs are carved into the desert cliffs, once were filled with treasures for the pharaoh’s afterlife. Later, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon visit the magnificent temple complex of Karnak, one of the most important religious centers of ancient Egypt with its magnificent temples. Your Egyptologist guide will enlighten you on the most fascinating stories and mythologies of the temple complex. proceed with your guide to the Luxor temple near the downtown and beside the Nile, In the evening board the night train to Cairo.

Day 7Cairo City Tour

Arrival in Cairo at the morning, the journey continues in one of the most important museums dedicated to the ancient world. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo contains about 120,000 ancient Egyptian relics and antiquities. Then make your way around Cairo, stopping at the Saladin Citadel, the Mohammed Ali Mosque, the Hanging Church and the world-famous Khan el-Khalil Market.

Day 8From Cairo to Dahab (Red Sea)

Day 9Dahab, Red Sea

Today, our Dahab experience begins with an optional snorkeling trip to the famous Blue Hole. Here you can snorkel on the beach, swim with colorful fish and experience the beauty of coral reefs. Dahab is known as one of the best diving destinations in the region, offering unforgettable experiences for divers of all levels. Would you try camel trekking or water sports on your way back.

Day 10Reach Jordania

Time for the second leg of your adventure. Leave early for Nuweiba where we will hop on a local ferry as we cross Jordan via Aqaba. After arriving in Jordan, we go to our campsite in the Wadi Rum desert. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore and relax or join an optional camel trek through outback landscapes. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Jordanian dinner under the stars. Then music and dancing around the fire as we get to know the locals of Wadi Rum!
Notice: Ferries from Nuweiba to Aqaba only leave when they are full, so the Jordan departure time and route may be delayed by 3-4 hours.

Day 11Wadi Rum, Petra

Start the day with an included Jeep safari through incredibly wide and rocky desert landscapes. Wadi Rum, also known as “The Valley of the Moon” due to its sandstone and granite rock surfaces. Inhabited by human cultures since prehistoric times, it’s full of ancient rock paintings and majestic temples. You’ll explore the area on a safari in a 4×4 vehicle driven by a local guide. Starting from Rum Village, you’ll visit the best places of the Wadi Rum Protected Area, including red sand dunes, canyons, Nabatean inscriptions, bizarre rock formations, and huge rock bridges. Then you’ll head back to Amman to enjoy one last night in Jordan before the trip ends. s we head to the lost city of Petra! Recognized as one of the seven wonders of the world, the city of Petra is a serious sight carved out of the pink rock. Upon arrival in Petra, enjoy free time to relax and unpack before the optional Petra by Night tour for a magical first glimpse of the ancient city illuminated by over 15,000 sparkling candles.

Day 12Petra

Today you will have the opportunity to experience the wonder of Petra, a historical city and archaeological site famous for its rock architecture and aqueduct system. Petra is nicknamed the “Pink City” because of the color of the stone from which it is carved. Known as the capital of the Nabateans, it is an iconic symbol of Jordan. UNESCO described it as “one of the most valuable cultural assets of human cultural heritage”.You will walk through the mystical Siq (“shaft”), a natural geological feature formed by a deep crack in the sandstone that serves as a water channel for Wadi Musa. You will then arrive at the famous Treasury (also known as Al-Khazneh). Opposite the vault is a viewpoint that you can climb to admire the incredible views from above. You can then visit the street of facades and walk through the Roman area, where you can climb the altar and follow the path to the Garden Temple complex. If you have the energy, climb the 800 steps to the monastery, the largest temple in Petra. The view from the top is worth it!.

Day 13Shobak Castle, the Dead Sea, and Amman

Stock up on breakfast before your busy day! First, visit Shobak Castle, the first Crusader fortress in eastern Jordan. Learn about the history of this ruin, built in 1115, from your guide. Then hop back on the Car and head to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. The Dead Sea, also known as the “Salt Sea,” lies hundreds of meters below sea level and contains incredibly salty water that allows you to float. Put on your swimsuit, take a mud-purifying bath, jump into the salty sea, and bathe in natural minerals. You will also visit the citadel and amphitheater before settling into your hotel in Amman.

Day 14Depart Amman
