Itinerary

Day 1Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will receive assistance from our representative prior to passport control, followed by a transfer to the hotel. Your accommodation will be at hotel in Cairo.

Day 2Tour Pyramids

Breakfast buffet. Departure for the included visit the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza, stand before the enigmatic Sphinx, and explore the Valley Temple. Your adventure continues to the Sakkara necropolis, where history whispers from the ancient stones, and to Memphis, once the pulsing heart of an empire. As dusk falls, the optional Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids will dazzle your senses, wrapping up a day steeped in the mysteries of the ancients before you retreat to the comfort of your hotel.

Day 3Cairo city tour

Enjoy a breakfast buffet before a full-day tour of Cairo, including the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, the medieval Citadel of Saladin and its Alabaster Mosque, the bustling Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, and the Coptic Quarter. In the evening, you can optionally join a dinner buffet on a Nile riverboat, complete with live entertainment. Then return to your hotel for the night.

Day 4Cairo-Saint Catherine

After enjoying the breakfast buffet, we will depart for the Sinai Peninsula, passing through the Ahmed Hamdy Tunnel below the Suez Canal as we travel from Africa to Asia. Our first stop will be Ayun Musa, also known as the Spring of Moses, where the biblical figure is said to have struck a rock to bring forth water. We will then continue on to the city of Saint Catherine, where we will arrive at our hotel. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at a 3* hotel in Saint Catherine.

Day 5Saint Catherine - Moses Mount

After a breakfast buffet, we will depart at dawn for Mount Moses, also known as Mount Sinai or Mount Horeb, which stands 2,285 meters high. This is where the prophet Moses received the Ten Commandments from God while the Hebrew people camped at the mountain’s base. From the summit, we can see both the sunrise and Mount Saint Catherine, the peninsula’s highest peak at 2,637 meters. Descending the mountain, we will visit the Saint Catherine’s Monastery (if possible), located at 1,570 meters with impressive walls constructed between 527 and 565 AD by order of Emperor Justinian. This biblical site is where Moses saw the burning bush. The monastery is named for Saint Catherine, an Alexandrian martyr who died in 395 AD and whose body was miraculously discovered atop the mountain bearing her name five centuries later. We will return to the hotel and depart at the scheduled time for the Taba border crossing into Israel. After completing immigration procedures, we will continue to Eilat airport for a flight to Tel Aviv. Upon arrival, we will be assisted by a representative who will transfer us to our hotel accommodation in Tel Aviv.

Day 6Tel Aviv - Caesarea - Acre - Haifa

After a breakfast buffet, depart for a short visit to the coastal city of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Continue up the coast to Caesarea to tour the ancient Roman Theater. Then travel onward to Haifa to see the Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris and stroll through the lush Persian Gardens. Take in the panoramic views of Haifa from atop Mount Carmel. Proceed to Acre, a medieval fortified city of the Crusaders, to explore the historic fortifications. Journey inland toward Galilee. Overnight accommodation in Galilee.

Day 7Tiberias - Nazareth

After enjoying breakfast at the buffet, we will depart for the Mount of Beatitudes, site of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount. We will then visit Tabgha, where Jesus performed the miracle of multiplying loaves and fishes, followed by Capernaum to see the ruins of the old synagogue and the house of St. Peter. Continuing along the coast of the Sea of Galilee, we will pass through Tiberias on our way to Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine. Finally, we will arrive in Nazareth to visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and Joseph’s carpentry workshop before checking into our hotel accommodation in Galilee for the night.

Day 8Safed - Yardenit - Tabor Mount - Jerusalem

After breakfast, we will depart for Safed to stroll through its charming streets and visit its ancient synagogues. Safed is known as the city of Kabbalah, the mystical branch of Judaism. We will then continue on to Yardenit, the traditional baptism site on the Jordan River. In the afternoon, our journey takes us to Mount Tabor, where we will tour the Basilica of the Transfiguration. We end the day traveling to Jerusalem for overnight accommodation in the holy city.

Day 9Modern City - Mount of Olives

After enjoying breakfast at the buffet, we will depart to the Mount of Olives to appreciate magnificent panoramic views of the city. We will then visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony. Continuing on, we will go to the modern part of the city and visit the Shrine of the Book in the Israel Museum, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls and a scale model of ancient Jerusalem. Later, we will tour Yad Vashem, the Holocaust remembrance museum, and the neighborhood of Ein Karem, where the Church of Saint John the Baptist and Church of the Visitation are located. We will spend the night in Jerusalem.

Day 10Walled City - Belen

After enjoying breakfast at the buffet, we will depart for the old city of Jerusalem to see the Western Wall, walk the Via Dolorosa, and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will then continue on to Mount Zion to see the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle, and the Abbey of the Dormition. In the afternoon, we will go to Bethlehem to tour the Basilica, the Grotto of the Nativity, and the Shepherd’s Field. We will spend the night in Jerusalem.

Day 11Jerusalem out

t the scheduled time, we will transfer to Ben Gurion Airport after the breakfast buffet.
