Temple of Kom OmboDrive from Aswan to Kom Ombo

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Aswan in an air-conditioned coach. Accompanied by a guide, you will be taken to the temple of Kom Ombo, located on the Nile about 50 kilometers north of Aswan. Built in the Greco-Roman era, Kom Ombo is home to an unusual double temple. The temple on the right is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, while the temple on the left was in honor of Haroeris. Each temple has its own entrance, court, its room, and sanctuary. It is believed that the temple will change the color when the sun sits.Kom-Ombo-Temple

Temple of Edfu'Visit the temple of Horus

proceed to the Edfu temple built out of sandstone during the Ptolemaic period. The temple is dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus. It is the best-preserved temple in Egypt and is magnificently constructed making wonderful use of natural sunlight. The temple contains a nilometre, windows and a well, including a variety of battle and religious inscriptions on the walls. Two statues of falcons are located at the entrance of the temple. The interior includes a library, a cloak room, a laboratory, a treasure room, an offering hall, a sanctuary and other chambers.
